POLE DECORATING, Updated Nov. 20, 2020
Just two weeks from today for Holiday Decorating Day. Do you have your garland and red ribbon? Be sure to also dig out your Christmas Sweater to wear at the tree lighting that night.
We would like to revive an old DLM tradition from years ago. That tradition involved residents decorating their light poles with a red ribbon bow and silver garland.
This year, Friday, December 4th will be designated as “Holiday Decorating Day.” Along with any holiday decorations you choose, we are asking each resident to please decorate your lamp post with garland and a red ribbon. Need assistance or have any questions, please call Marcie Reynolds (352-750-1344) or Sally Yoder (352-259-3861). We have volunteers.
If you will not be here to decorate and want to participate, maybe a neighbor would do it.
